Samsung Firmwares

We are now introducing firmware to most popular Samsung devices.
The firmware are as it is,official. The links of most stable version are posted. The firmware will work irrespective of region and country. And this does not void your warranty.

You can also receive update via Kies but why wait..??

here's the guide for installing the firmware manually:
  1. Make sure you have installed the suitable drivers on your PC, if not you can install the Samsung KIES app  and install the drivers.
  2. Download the Official package file of your device from links below.
  3. Download the ODIN app.
  4. Extract the downloaded archive pack file on your PC desktop.
  5. Now, extract, install and open Odin app.
  6. Next, power off the Samsung Galaxy Device.
  7. Boot it into Download Mode; for most devices, for completing this operation you have to press and keep holding Power, Volume Down and Menu buttons simultaneously(It may vary for some devices..google it for your device if it does not work)
  8. Now, connect your Android device to the PC, using its USB cable.
  9. Look at the ODIN interface and make sure that the “added” message will be showed and the ID:COM together with the port number will be yellow or blue.
  10. In case ODIN doesn’t display in its interface the above elements, you will have to reinstall the suitable drivers once again, and after that to repeat all the guide steps from the beginning.
  11. Now, if the ODIN works as we explained at the step 9, from the ODIN app you need to select the ‘PDA’ option.
  12. Browse and pick the extracted firmware file.
  13. Important: Make sure the RE0partition box in the ODIN interface must be unchecked. Don’t make any other changes in the ODIN interface.
  14. Now, when you are ready to start the updating process click on “Start” button from ODIN.
  15. After the flashing process is done, the ODIN will display the “pass” message.
  16. Disconnect the smartphone from the PC.
Troubleshooting and tips to solve the problems that can appear during the installation process:
IF the Odin application gets stuck or frozen you have to do:
  • Firstly, you need to close Odin app.
  • Disconnect the Samsung Device from the PC
  •  When the smartphone has been disconnected force to restart it.
  • Now, you have to reinstall the proper drivers on the computer once more.
  • Open Odin app.
  • Boot the Android device into download mode.
  • Connect the device to computer using its USB cord.
  • Repeat the step by step guide from the beginning.
If your smartphone gets stuck or is entering in a boot loop then you have to do:
  • Firstly, force to reboot it into recovery mode, to do that you have to press on Power + Volume Up + Menu buttons simultaneous.
  • In the recovery Mode selects “wipe data factory reset” and followed by “wipe cache partition”.
  • After you wipe cache partition select “+++go back+++” and from the main Recovery Mode Menu select “reboot system now”.
That’s all you need to do in order successfully update your Samsung Device.

Google to launch new Nexus 7 in India next month

Asus, which manufactures Nexus 7 tablets for Google, is unlikely to be involved in the retail of Nexus 7 in India. The tablet will initially be sold by Google's retail arm through AndroidLand store in Noida (near Delhi) and Bangaluru.
Run jointly by Google and smartphone maker Spice, the two AndroidLand stores will start stocking the second-generation Nexus 7 tablet some time next month, sources said. Google has already confirmed on its official webpage the new model of Nexus 7 will be coming soon to India.
Apple's new iPhones 5S and 5C will also hit Indian stores on November 1. A November launch for both the second-generation Nexus 7 and the new iPhones will bode well for sales during the festive season in India.
Thus, the new Nexus 7 will come to India four months after its global unveiling. Its predecessor - the first generation Nexus 7 - had arrived in the country nine months after global launch. Google is also gearing up for global unveiling of the Nexus 5 smartphones soon.
Meanwhile, online retailers have started selling the current Nexus 7 model with major discounts. The 16GB Wi-Fi-only version is selling for Rs 9,999 on e-commerce websites, as compared to the official price of Rs 15,999. Its 32GB Wi-Fi variant can be purchased for Rs 13,499.

Google Gem

We recently heard that the new Google Nexus smart watch will be called the Google Gem, although it is not clear as yet on whether this is the devices final name or a code-name for the watch.
We previously heard that Google may make the Google Gem official on the 31st of October, the device is expected to be released at the same time as Android 4.4 Kit Kat.
Google Gem
According to a recent report, one of the main features of the Google Gem will be Google Now, and the watch is said to come with a number of Google Now features.
Google are apparently working on the device at the moment, before their official unveiling, and one of the things they are apparently focusing on is battery life.
The Google Gem is said to use Bluetooth 4.0 LE, which is designed to be more battery friendly, to communicate with your smartphone or tablet.
This is the second time that a launch date of the 31st of October for the Google Gem and Android 4.4 Kit Kat has been mentioned, so it could possibly be the correct release date for the device.
Google are also expected to launch the new Google Nexus 5 recently, we are expecting to hear more about the device tomorrow, as all the rumors we have heard have mentioned the 15th of October for the Nexus 5 announcement.

HTC unveils One Max phablet with 5.9-inch screen

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has unveiled its One Max phablet with a 5.9-inch display and a fingerprint scanner. The new device will compete against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG Optimus G2 and the upcoming Nokia phablet. The company has not revealed the price of the new model yet, but has announced that it will be launched in Asia and Europe in October and the US in November.
HTC One Max has a Full HD display with 368ppi pixel density. It has the same look as the One and One Mini smartphones, but has a removable back cover. The phablet is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Sense UI on top.
On the back, One Max sports a 4MP UltraPixel camera. However, unlike the HTC One smartphone, this device does not have optical image stabilization. It comes with 16 and 32GB internal storage options and supports microSD cards up to 64GB. This phablet has dual BoomSound speakers and infrared blaster, but does not have Beats Audio sound enhancement technology.
The fingerprint scanner in HTC One Max is placed below the camera and can be used to unlock the device by swiping the finger over the sensor.
This is the second major phone to have a fingerprint scanner this year after Apple iPhone 5S . The first-ever smartphone to have a fingerprint scanner was Motorola Atrix.
